Work Camps 2016
Do you want to know other cultures and villages while helping the others? The Injuve offers you this opportunity through its Work Camps Program, in which boys and girls fewer than 30 can do voluntary services in several countries of the world for fifteen days and free stay.
The Work Camps for Young people has the goal to reinforce the intercultural learning, the personal development and the reinforcement of democratic values, at the same time you develop your work as volunteer.
For running this activity, the Youth Institute is member of the Coordination Committee of the International Volunteer Service, an organization responsible for collection all the offers of associations around the world and to share them with the associated members.
The vacancies we offer in work camps abroad come from the exchange produced between the organizations integrated in ALIANZA and, whose counterpart is Injuve, on behalf of the Communities and Autonomous Cities.
Sometimes, the conditions of the work camp of destination entail certain inconveniences, the lodging is in houses, camp sites or other type of installations, the place is always distant from the urban cities or some work camps are developed in countries with a different culture that can imply a sort of adaptation to the conditions of the work, schedule or environment different to our county. It is your responsibility to value your adaptive capacity, accepting and respecting the conditions and possible cultural differences.
Remember that, being international work camps, is needed to have an English level (and of other languages in the case it may be specified) which allows you to get on, at least at a conversational level.

The deadlines to request for participation in the raffle to get a vacancy are this way:
- International Work Camps: (International Volunteering Service): from Wednesday 27th April at 09:00am to Friday 29th April at 14:00pm. Raffle: On Tuesday 3rd May at 10:00am. Offer of 71 vacancies in 49 work camps in 24 countries.
- Camps in Other Autonomous Communities: From Wednesday 4th May at 09:00am to Friday 6th May at 14:00am. Raffle: On Monday 9th May at10:00am. This year the young people from Andalucía can access to 189 positions in a total of 100 camp sites.
- Camps in Andalucía. From Wednesday 11th May at 09:00am to Friday 13th May at 14:00pm. Raffle: On Monday 16th May at 10:00am. The young people from Andalucía have 188 available positions distributed in 17 camp sites.
